Clinical update

Yesterday we had a woman come in for a 3-phase liver. She has a history of hepatitis and known cirrhosis of the liver. This was the first time that I've seen cirrhosis of the liver. Her scan revealed a very small liver that appeared very bright, her spleen was very large, she had a large amount of ascites going on throughout her entire abdomen including the para colic gutters and the pouch of Douglas. It was a very interesting scan for me, as I don't see pathology very often.

Clinicals update

I ran the CT department by myself the other day. It was a very successful day, and the radiologist was very happy with my work.
